About

I had a dream of finding the perfect place to host guests from all over the world in the South Island. So I sold up in Auckland and travelled for 4 months in a motor home with my two dogs, Daisy & Monty. We travelled the South Island scouring the towns for the most tranquil location with heavenly views. The moment I saw Rimu lodge I knew I had found my piece of paradise. An unspoiled environment with magnificent views. Rimu lodge is the only Qualmark 5 star bed & breakfast on the West Coast. I look forward to sharing this very special place with you. You may even get to meet Monty & Daisy.
